The great player experience we offer is facilitated masterfully by our team of helpful and friendly Game Masters. But what is a Game Master? And are they really watching you from the control room and laughing while you struggle?<\/p>\n
Game Masters at Puzzle Effect are there with you every step of the way, from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. They\u2019ll check you in first, make sure you have everything you need and get to know you a little better. Be sure to ask any questions you may have, even if you think they\u2019re silly. The more information your Game Master has about the type of player you are, the better your experience will be.<\/p>\n
Think of your GM as an additional member of your team. They\u2019re your \u201cguy in the chair\u201d and they want nothing more than to see you succeed. They\u2019ll never lead you astray or give you a clue that will point you in the wrong direction. Trust that they will give you a nudge when you need it, if you do need it at all. Maybe you\u2019re just built different.<\/p>\n
Our GMs might seem super human, but they sadly can\u2019t read minds. It\u2019s immensely helpful to work through your puzzles while talking out loud so they can know how best to nudge you along if you get stuck. Don\u2019t make them play a guessing game, say your codes out loud and explain your thinking process. This is also great for communicating with the other players in your team!<\/p>\n
